sex in the city: how can the netherlands advance in planning sex in the city? (forum)

A group exhibition of urban researchers around the world puts up a panel of how Amsterdam Red Light District can be an advanced urban planning example for sex in the city. This collective knowledge is built up by comparing Amsterdam with world cities under the theme of “Sex Tourism, Prostitution and Neighbourhood, Transnational Sex Work, and Red Light District Re-construction”. The world cities include: Antwerp, Sidney, Hong Kong, Bangkok.
Introduction by Boundary Unlimited, short lectures and discussion forum followed by invited lecturers including Manuel Aalbers (University of Amsterdam), Michaël Deinema(University of Amsterdam), Maarten Loopmans (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Red Light District Antwerp), Sandra van Straaten (Indepdendent Researcher), Tim de Boer (Independent Researcher).
